Synopsis

Native American Inspirations draws together a rich and unique musical history and intersects it with contemporary classical music and opera. Brent Michael Davids’ City of Water was commissioned by Shenandoah Conservatory, with the work receiving its world premiere at La Biennale di Venezia on 20 September 2022.
